Scene…Restaurateur and Bedford, N.Y., resident Julian Niccolini , co-owner of The Four Seasons Restaurant in New York City, and his wife Lisa were seen having dinner with real estate guru Brian Fisher and his wife Joanna at Rebeccas on Glenville Road in Greenwich on April 8. The landmark restaurant, owned by Greenwich residents and husband and wife team Rebecca Kirhoffer and chef Reza Khorshidi, is celebrating 20 years in December.Out there…The fifth annual Alzheimer’s Association Connecticut Chapter Celebrating Hope event takes place on May 5 at l’escale at the Delamar Greenwich Harbor with featured guest, award-winning actor and author Hill Harper. Harper is known for his roles on Showtime’s Homeland and the hit CBS drama CSI: NY. He is also starring in the movie “Concussion” with Will Smith, and the soon to be released Tupac Shakur biopic, “All Eyez on Me.” Harper, a cancer survivor, will share his journey with the disease, the impact of cancer research, and how increased research for Alzheimer’s disease can produce similar advances in cancer protocols. The evening will include cocktails, dinner by Executive Chef Frédéric Kieffer, silent and live auctions and music by The What Up Funk Band’s 7-piece ensemble. Proceeds will benefit the Alzheimer’s Association Connecticut Chapter and the 75,000 people in Connecticut living with Alzheimer’s and their caregivers. Since its inception five years ago, Celebrating Hope has raised more than $1 million for Alzheimer’s and dementia care and research. Tickets are $350 each. Willis and his wife, actress and producer Emma Heming, purchased a $12 million, 22-acre country estate in Bedford in 2014. Their neighbors include actors Catherine Zeta-Jones and Michael Douglas and Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively.Out there…Connecticut Playmakers is celebrating its 70th anniversary in the community with an original production of “Hollywood, Take 2: Songs and Scenes from the Silver Screen” at the First Congregational Church in Old Greenwich April 28 through April 30, May 5 and 6 and May 12-14.
