Tickets on sale for ‘It’s a Mod, Mod World’ fundraiser
HUNTINGTON — Tickets are available now for “It’s a Mod, Mod World!” – a fundraising event for the Huntington Museum of Art to take place on Friday, May 31, from 7 to 11 p.m. This event is co-chaired by HMA Board of Trustees Members Jessica Pressman and Terry Deppner Hardin.
“It’s a Mod, Mod World!” features cocktails, food, a silent auction, music by John Eric Booth, pop-up shops and more. The event will also offer a sneak peek at the exhibit titled “Macy’s Presents Charley Harper: Works from the Hausrath Family Collection,” which is on view at HMA from June 1 through July 28, 2019. “It’s a Mod, Mod World!” is inspired by and celebrates the mid-century world of West Virginia native Charley Harper and allows guests to wear their best mod dresses or coolest Don Draper suits. Ranging from 1945-1975, Mid Mod fashion can
include cocktail dresses, jumpsuits and fedoras or whatever fits you best.
