Hear songs of Chicago on local stage Friday
DIXON – Cue Theatricals will present “Beginnings: The Ultimate Tribute to Chicago” at 7:30 p.m. Friday at Historic Dixon Theatre, 114 S. Galena Ave.
The eight-man group plays all the band’s top tunes.
Chicago sold more than 40 million units in the United States, with 23 gold, 18 platinum and 8 multi-platinum albums.
In February 2016, the band – which also has worked with the likes of Peter Frampton, Don Henley and Joe Walsh – was even joined by former Chicago guitarist Donnie Dacus. According to a news release, he said, “These guys are so good, it’s scary!”
Cue Thearticals said it gets request from agents for tribute bands on a daily basis. The organization went with Beginnings because the original Chicago wasn’t available.
Tickets range from $44 to $49.
