NEW FAIRFIELD — The family of a New Fairfield woman who worked with children for many years until her death Dec. 11 has launched a toy drive in her memory.

Lauren DiBiase, 30, worked in day care and as a nanny after her graduation from New Fairfield High School in 2005. In recognition of her love for children, her family has requested that those attending the visitation or funeral bring an unwrapped toy or stuffed animal for later donation to local charities.

The visitation is scheduled for 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at Green Funeral Home, 57 Main St. in Danbury. The funeral is at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Edward the Confessor Church, 21 Brush Hill Rd. in New Fairfield.
