Gregg joins Dedicated Community Bank board
DARLINGTON, S.C. – James C. “Jimmy” Gregg has been named to the board of directors of Dedicated Community Bank.
Gregg served the Greater Pee Dee Area for several decades in law enforcement, retiring as the Florence County sheriff in 2004. Gregg has served on numerous boards and in several leadership positions.
Since retirement, Gregg has been active in real estate development and several start-up companies.
He is married to Marianne Gregg and has two sons, Jay and Charlie. They reside in Claussen, where Gregg has been a lifelong member of Hopewell Presbyterian Church.
“With our bank’s expansion into the Florence market in 2015, we wanted the next person to join our board of directors to be someone from the area who has deep ties to the community,” said Jim Ivey, Dedicated Community Bank’s president and chief executive officer. “Jimmy solidly reflects the community banking spirit that drives DCB. We feel that Jimmy will be a wonderful asset to our board and a great advocate for DCB in the community.”
Dedicated Community Bank is an independent community bank founded in 1986. In addition to its home office at 202 Cashua Street in Darlington, the bank operates one branch office in Florence at 2016 Hoffmeyer Road.
