October 5, 2017 GMT

POCATELLLO - The Reflection Garden, a new addition to Caldwell Park, will have a ribbon cutting ceremony with city dignitaries Oct. 10 at 5:30 p.m. at 8th and Lewis.

The Reflection Garden is donated to the City of Pocatello by the friends and family of Dr. William W. Schubert (1946-2016). Dr. Schubert delivered 6,500 babies during 34 years as an obstetrician and gynecologist in Pocatello. Dr. Schubert genuinely loved caring for his patients and living in and contributing to Pocatello. A farm boy with a large family of his own, Dr. Schubert enjoyed all of the seasonal activities and recreation offered in southeast Idaho. The Reflection Garden is designed to provide a place to relax, restore and gather with family and friends.

The Reflection Garden is a collaboration between the City of Pocatello, a College Neighborhood committee and the friends and family of Dr. Schubert. The design committee members include the City of Pocatello and Wade Peterson, Shannon Ansley, Trissa Cameron, Rosey & Gene Erickson, Jerry Myers, Ron Dykman, and Janet Schubert.
