MOUNT DESERT, Maine (AP) — The Maine Wardens Service says the search for a missing Seal Cove man on Long Pond on Mount Desert Island has been called off for the night.

The search for 38-year-old Corey Farley will resume on Saturday. Wardens found the body of his companion, 67-year-old Richard Weimer of Charlton, Mass., in the water Thursday afternoon.

The two men were fishing and were last seen on the pond Wednesday afternoon. Their small boat was found overturned Thursday afternoon.

On Friday afternoon, wardens said they using sonar and boats to look for Farley but said it was too cloudy to use aircraft.
