Barefoot Wonder strides into Zumbrota
Between them, Bowers and Gillman have a century of performing music. Bowers started out playing the guitar in the 1960s and later shifted to the violin. He has performed at major folk festivals, including Winnipeg and Kerrville, and has been a member of the Blue Canvas Orchestra at the Big Top Chautauqua near Bayfield, Wis., for 27 years.
Gillman has been playing fingerstyle guitar since the early 1970s, and has appeared alongside Bobby Vee, Spider John Koerner and Pat Donahue.
As a duo, Barefoot Wonder explores music from the 1920s through the 1990s.
