Man sentenced to prison in human trafficking case with teen
BROCKTON, Mass. (AP) — A Massachusetts man has been sentenced to up to 14 years in prison for luring a 16-year-old girl to another town on the premise of attending a party and forcing her to perform sexual acts.
The Enterprise reports that a Plymouth Superior Court jury convicted 27-year-old Keith Grace, of Chelsea, of human trafficking, rape, kidnapping and other charges Tuesday.
Prosecutors say he was among three people who in January 2017 schemed to bring the girl from Fitchburg to Brockton where she was held against her will.
A 23-year-old woman was sentenced last year for her role in transporting the girl and helping force her to perform sexual acts for money.
Another man has been charged with raping the girl. His trial is scheduled for later this year.
