Solar panel discussion planned

March 14, 2018 GMT

The Nebraska Conservation Education Fund will be hosting a presentation in Norfolk this week on community solar farms and how one can be structured to the City of Norfolk.

Jamison Willis and Nic Nealy, both representing the education fund, will share information put together by the Nebraskans for Solar group in Omaha on how they set up solar farms. The information has been collected through numerous projects they have funded across several rural Nebraska communities.

The presentation is set for Thursday, March 15, at 6 p.m. at Black Cow Fat Pig in Norfolk. There will be a short presentation and then time for questions. The public is invited to attend.

An informal poll of those attending also will be taken of those in attendance to help gauge the interest level of solar farms in Norfolk.
