2 jailed on felony charges at WRJ
BARBOURSVILLE - Two people were jailed on felony charges Saturday, according to booking records kept at the Western Regional Jail.
Fred Anthony Akers, 33, was jailed at noon Saturday. Authorities in Mingo County charged him with conspiracy and grand larceny, and authorities in Wayne County charged him with obstructing, possession of a controlled substance and giving false information to law enforcement. Bond was not set.
Katey Hinton, 35, was jailed at 1:45 a.m. Saturday. Authorities in Cabell County charged her with child neglect, possession of a controlled substance and being a fugitive from justice. Bond was denied.
