Bullhead PD arrests man on attempted murder charge
Bullhead City Police detectives arrested Jonathan Daniel Hash, 21, for attempted second degree murder, and aggravated assault after a Monday morning incident.
According to information from police, at 11:20 a.m. Monday, police were called to the area of Mead Lane and Gregg Lane for several reports of gunshots.
After detectives interviewed several witnesses and served a search warrant at the suspect’s residence, police spoke with him. According to Hash and others involved, Hash and a friend allegedly went to confront a subject on Mead Lane. When they left the confrontation, Hash reportedly fired rounds while walking away. Hash then reportedly fired more rounds at a victim when the victim approached the residence where Hash was staying. Hash was the only person armed at the time of the confrontations.
Detectives discovered that a house had been struck and the bullet went through the window, television and couch. The residence was occupied at the time. The residents in this house were not part of the altercation.
Another round struck an unoccupied parked vehicle in the area. The owner of this vehicle was also not involved in the altercation.
Hash is facing other charges, including possession of a prohibited weapon, disorderly conduct with a weapon, unlawful discharge of a firearm, endangerment and criminal damage.
The case is still under investigation and additional charges may be pending.
