Milford police seek suspect in identity theft

MILFORD - Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect in an identity theft case.

On March 2, the identity theft occurred at which time the woman, attempted to make purchases and open credit card accounts by falsely using the identity of a Milford resident.

The fraud was committed in White Plains, N.Y. at the Westchester Mall.

“The suspect was also able to obtain a fraudulent CT driver’s license which displays the personal information of the Milford resident,” Officer Joseph Dempsey said in a release.
