HMA Tuesday Tour to feature ugly sweater contest

HUNTINGTON — The Huntington Museum of Art will host an ugly holiday sweater contest during its December Tuesday Tour, starting at 7 p.m. TXiesday, Dec. 26. Cookies and hot chocolate will be served.

“Come celebrate Boxing Day at HMA by wearing your ugliest holiday sweater,” Cindy Dearborn, HMA’s museum and schools coordinator, said in a news release. “We are looking forward to making this a fun event with cookies and a hot chocolate bar. We anticipate seeing some fun holiday sweaters.”

The Huntington Museum of Art’s 4th Tuesday Tour series takes place on the fourth Tuesday of each month at 7 p.m. and offers a guided tour of an exhibit, a guest speaker or other special program. Tuesdays in 2017 are free admission days at HMA thanks to the sponsorship of Macy’s. HMAs Tuesday hours are 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Other hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday and noon to 5 p.m. Sunday. HMA is closed to the public on Mondays. HMA will be closed to the public on New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day.
