In Chester County, hundreds of homes to rise near historic Greystone Hall

More than 400 acres, the largest remaining tract of undeveloped land in West Goshen Township, was sold last month to make way for hundreds of houses in a deal a decade in the making.

But, truly, the origin of the $38 million sale of the land surrounding the historic Greystone Hall traces to the 1950s, when the Jerrehian family, its owners, first started courting developers.
