Threat to shoot Fayette County school not serious, police say
Investigators deemed a potential threat by a student to “shoot up” a Fayette County high school was not serious, state police at Uniontown said Sunday.
A juvenile sent a text message to a companion on Feb. 19 stating they would shoot up Albert Gallatin Area High School in Georges Township.
A “thorough investigation” was conducted, and it was determined that the juvenile was “unwilling to act on such claim,” police said.
No charges will be filed.
