Memorial Day Art Exhibit At Sue Hand’s Imagery

Eighteen area artists will exhibit their artwork at the 22nd annual Theme Show Invitational Art Exhibit at Sue Hand’s Imagery, 35 Main St., Dallas, from Thursday, May 23, to Monday, May 27. Each artist will exhibit six to 12 pieces of art showcasing their chosen subject, media and style. Sue Hand will exhibit her watercolor paintings of still life set-ups featuring doilies handmade by her mother. Guest artists and their subject themes include: Sherene Barilla, Swoyersville, oil seascapes; Ruth Burns, Wyoming, watercolor animals; Rita Eddy, Montrose, watercolor trees; Ralph Fraley, Swoyersville, oil seascapes; Helen Harabin, Shavertown; watercolor flowers; Dave Hoffman, graphite scenery; Tammy Hoyt, Shickshinny, watercolor animals; Diane Keating, Mountain Top, colored pencil toys; MaryLee Klemish, faux stained glass designs; Rosemary Luksha, Larksville, watercolor and pen and ink ballet posters; Mandy Newman, watercolor butterflies; Judy Plummer, Kingston, oil pastel compositions; Vita Reddy, Shavertown, oil scenery; Marge Rosa, Avoca, oil scotties; Gianna Williams acrylic miniatures; Nikki Winters, gouache folk whimsey and Lora Womer, Hunlock Creek, watercolor seascapes. The public is invited to attend the exhibit from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday, May 23; 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, May 24; 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, May 25; 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, May 26 and 1 to 4 p.m. Monday, May 27, Memorial Day.
