CycleBar, Motion Stretch Studio bulk up in Houston market
CycleBar has leased 2,471 square feet in Market at Houston Heights for an indoor cycling studio on the second floor. The retail center, a project of Capital Retail Properties and Wile Interests at 533 North Shepherd Drive, is planned to open this summer. CycleBar franchisees Greg and Sidney Hatfield were represented by James Namken with Weitzman. Connor Lynch of Capital Retail Properties represented the landlord. Boston-based CycleBar has area studios in Vintage Park, Cinco Ranch, The Woodlands and the Washington Avenue Arts District. Studios feature the company’s CycleBeats online music database and tiered CycleTheatre, with custom bikes, flat screens, personal data monitors, high-tech audio, video and lighting technology.
Crazy Boss has signed a 25,695-square-foot retail lease at 1222 South Shaver, Pasadena. NAI Partners’ Lesley Rice and Andy Parrish represented the landlord, while Chris Holder represented the tenant. Crazy Boss plans to open 10 additional locations in the next few years.
Twin Liquors has leased 3,558 square feet in the H-E-B Cypress Market Shopping Center, at 24224 Northwest Freeway, Cypress. Kristen Barker of Wulfe & Co. represented the landlord.
Community Health 1st ER has opened a 9,000-square-foot free-standing emergency room facility at 1101 East Blvd., Deer Park. The facility is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Founded locally by Jay Mackey, the facility is equipped to perform CT scans, X-rays and MRIs and has an in-house lab and pharmacy.
Motion Stretch Studio has leased space for six locations in the Houston area. Debbie Adams and Kathy King of Edge Realty Partners represented the company in all the deals. Doug Schooley of Kimco Realty represented the landlord in-house in a 1,750-square-foot lease in Grand Parkway Marketplace at Grand Parkway and Kuykendahl in Spring. Lauren Heimann of Regency Centers represented the landlord in-house in a 1,600-square-foot lease in Cochran’s Crossing Shopping Center at Research Forest and Gosling in Spring. Erin Dyer of Lovett Commercial represented the landlord in-house in a 1,280-square-foot lease at Sawyer Yards, 2313 Edwards Street. Vince O’Toole of Poag Shopping Centers represented the landlord in-house in a 1,368-square-foot lease in La Centerra at Cinco Ranch at Grand Parkway and Cinco Ranch Boulevard in Katy. John Wise of Weingarten Realty represented the landlord in-house in a 1,924-square-foot lease in the Centre at Post Oak at Westheimer and Post Oak. Brooks Shanklin of Read King Commercial Real Estate represented the landlord in a 1,750-square-foot space in the Vintage Marketplace at Louetta and Cutten.
Sadie Belles Gift Shop & Boutique has opened at 819 3rd St. in downtown Rosenberg, the Central Fort Bend Chamber announced. The business, which sells woman’s clothing, home décor, antiques, gifts, jewelry, handbags, shoes, children’s clothing, monogramming, ribbon and wreath-making supplies, is owned by Sherri Alexander and Marlene Dame.
Bombshells Restaurant & Bar has opened a Tomball location. The 8,200-square-foot restaurant, at 24628 Texas 249 next to Regal Lone Star Cinemas 19, has another 2,400 square feet on the patio and total seating for 400. The RCI Hospitality Holdings subsidiary has eight locations, including six in the Houston area.
