West Shore Community College board hopefuls meet at forum
There are three candidates vying for two seats on the West Shore Community College board in the Nov. 6 general election.
Current board member James Barker of Manistee, whose term is expiring in December, is seeking re-election. Also in contention are Randy Tomaszewski of Manistee and Jim Scatena of Ludington.
The second seat on the board became available when current board member Mike Ennis, whose term also expires in December, decided not to seek re-election.
All three attended Tuesday’s candidate forum held at the Ludington Area Center for the Arts and hosted by the Daily News and Ludington & Scottville Area Chamber of Commerce.
Chamber President and CEO Kathy Maclean and Daily News Managing Editor David Bossick asked questions to the three candidates.
