Missouri became the first and, to date, only No. 12 seed to advance to the Elite Eight. The Tigers’ run started with a win over Miami in the first round, followed by wins over No. 4 seed Ohio State and No. 8 seed UCLA. Guard Kareem Rush -- brother of college basketball stars JaRon and Brandon Rush -- was the Tigers’ leading scorer on the season, averaging 19.8 points per game. Rush scored 15 points with seven assists and five rebounds in the win over Miami.
