Windows, Doors & More to expand, add jobs
Windows, Doors & More, a local, family owned and operated home improvement company, will invest more than $5 million into an expansion.
A 10 a.m. groundbreaking ceremony April 12 will launch construction for the expansion of the company’s facility at 1121 W. Washington Center Road.
“We’re really looking forward to growing the business,” Kevin Hunter, president of the company, said during a brief telephone interview Friday.
About 50 jobs will be added in the next 10 years. Windows, Doors & More currently employs 75.
The expansion will add 9,000 square feet of new space, which will connect the main building to an existing 5,000-square-foot warehouse. While most of the new space will be used for warehousing, it will also include additional room for offices and, eventually, more showroom space, according to a news release.
“We’re working so many projects that we don’t have enough room to store our incoming product. It’s a testament to our commitment to getting the job done on time and on budget, with the best products and installation teams available,” Hunter said in a statement. “The showroom is already one of the best in the country, and this expansion will keep us ahead of the curve to serve our customers even better going forward.”
