Nevada Governor in Good Condition After Gallbladder Surgery
LAS VEGAS (AP) _ Gov. Bob Miller was recovering Sunday after having his gallbladder removed.
Miller, 49, had the operation late Saturday and was listed in good condition, said Sunrise Hospital spokeswoman Ann Lynch.
He could be released from the hospital as early as Monday and is expected to resume a normal schedule later in the week, she said.
Richard Urey, Miller’s press secretary, said the Democratic governor appeared to be in good spirits and was glad to get the operation over with.
``It wasn’t an emergency, but his doctor felt this was the time to take care of it,″ he said.
