A 22-year-old UW-Madison student was struck by a car early Sunday morning, with the driver telling police he didn’t see the man in the street.
The crash happened at about 1 a.m. on Langdon Street at North Henry Street, Madison police said.
The student was in a crosswalk at the intersection when the car hit him as it was going west on Langdon Street.
“The 18-year-old driver stopped immediately and called 911,” said police spokesman Joel DeSpain.
“There were no signs of impairment,” DeSpain said.“The cooperative motorist told officers he just did not see the pedestrian.”
