Lady Antebellum plays Hartford’s Xfinity Theatre

July 15, 2017 GMT

Lady Antebellum comes to Hartford’s Xfinity Theater this weekend, touring in support of its new album, “Heart Break.” The band will perform on Saturday, July 22.

“Heart Break” is the seventh album from Hillary Scott and her bandmates, Charles Kelley and Dave Haywood, and the trio’s first new music since 2014’s “747.”

The seven-time Grammy winners have another hit on their hands with this record. The album’s first single, “You Look Good,” is a funky, upbeat tune with punchy lyrics and cool horns. Other standouts include the sweet but melancholy “Somebody Else’s Heart,” and “Hurt,” a haunting ballad.

“Heart Break” came together when Lady A decided it was time to focus on new music in a setting with no distractions. The three friends rented a house in Los Angeles, where they lived and worked under one roof, and then did the same in Florida. They also collaborated with some of their favorite writers and people they hadn’t worked with before.

Together since 2006, Lady A has sold more than 18 million records. The band’s Grammys include both “Record” and “Song of the Year” for “Need You Now” in 2010.

Joining Lady A at Xfinity Theater will be Kelsea Ballerini (“Dibs”) and Brett Young (“Like I Loved You”).
