Home Bank and FHLB Dallas to Award $10K in Grant Funding to Educate At-Risk Youth

LAFAYETTE, La.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec 6, 2018--Home Bank and the Federal Home Loan Bank of Dallas (FHLB Dallas) will award $10,000 in Partnership Grant Program (PGP) funds to A New Vision Leadership Foundation of Acadiana to support its S.T.E.M. Education in Minority Communities program.

Bank representatives will award the funds at a check presentation at 3:00 p.m. Friday, December 7, 2018, at Domingue Recreation Center at 901 Mudd Avenue in Lafayette. The media is encouraged to attend.

A New Vision Leadership Foundation of Acadiana is a nonprofit organization that seeks to educate, expose and empower at-risk youth to improve in all aspects of their lives through college readiness, professional development and civic engagement.

The structure of the PGP enables FHLB Dallas member institutions such as Home Bank to make a contribution of $500 to $4,000 to a community-based organization (CBO), which FHLB Dallas will match at a 3:1 ratio.
