New-look Eagles coming to Vivint Arena
Birds of a different feather will be coming to Utah on May 3 as the new-look Eagles will be landing at Vivint Smart Home Arena.
Following the death of co-founder, singer and guitarist Glenn Frey in January of 2016, most people thought the Eagles would be finished as a recording and touring entity — since Frey’s imprint on the band’s sound and legacy cannot be overstated. But the Eagles are attempting to compensate for his absence with the addition of Deacon Frey, Glenn’s son, and country crooner Vince Gill to the band’s live lineup.
Reviews have been good regarding the new group, and now Utah fans will have the opportunity to decide for themselves whether the current incarnation is up to the Eagles’ lofty standards.
