Ants get 2 back, still lose

Rob Gray scored 19 points, not nearly enough to help the Mad Ants avoid their 10th loss in their last 12 games.

They fell 112-82 to Raptors 905 on Monday night in front of an announced crowd of 3,832 at the Paramount Fine Foods Centre in Mississauga, Ontario.

Before the game, the NBA’s Indiana Pacers sent Alize Johnson and Edmond Sumner back to the Mad Ants (20-25).

Johnson had 16 points and 15 rebounds : he had come in averaging a double-double in G League action with 19.2 points and 13.6 rebounds over 25 games : and Sumner had 10 points Monday.

Jovan Mooring added 15 points for the Mad Ants, who had won their previous game, 110-98 over the Lakeland Magic on Friday at Memorial Coliseum. They play their next two games on the road against the Capital City Go-Go on Thursday and Saturday.
