White House announces Risch as member of Presidential Delegation to South Korea for Olympic Closing Ceremony
BOISE – Today the Trump Administration announced that U.S. Senator Jim Risch (R-ID) was named an official Member of the Presidential Delegation to the Republic of Korea for the Closing Ceremony and events of the 2018 PyeongChang Olympic Winter Games. Risch is a senior member of the Senate Foreign Relations and Intelligence committees.
“In accepting the President’s invitation to represent the United States at the Olympic Closing Ceremony, I know all Idahoans will join me in appreciating what a great honor this is for our state,” said Senator Risch. “The participation of our athletes in these international events has made our nation proud and it will be a real privilege to participate in the ceremonies closing these 23rd Olympic Games. I also look forward to engaging with other national leaders in PyeongChang.”
