DRUG PARAPHERNALIA, BULLHEAD CITY — Jesus Jose Ramirez, 26, was arrested Tuesday after police were called to the 500 block of Marina Boulevard to continue a robbery investigation. Arriving officers contacted Ramirez, who reportedly had drug paraphernalia in his vehicle. He was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia and released.
WARRANT ARREST, BULLHEAD CITY — Teri Lorraine Godfrey, 48, was arrested Tuesday in the 2100 block of Third Street on an outstanding misdemeanor warrant from the Bullhead City Municipal Court. She was booked and held to be seen in court.
SPEEDING, BULLHEAD CITY — At about 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, police reportedly saw a vehicle going 71 mph (according to radar) in a 45 mph zone. A traffic stop was conducted on Highway 95 near Milepost 240. The driver of the vehicle, Dylan McKinley Nash, 21, was cited for excessive speed (20-plus mph over the posted speed limit in a business district) and released.
WARRANT ARREST/STOLEN PROPERTY, BULLHEAD CITY — At about 1:20 p.m. Tuesday, police were called to a pawn shop in the 1700 block of Highway 95 for a report of suspicious activity. Upon arrival officers contacted a man and woman in a white Ford pickup, police spokeswoman Carina Spotts said. A check showed the driver, Levi Edward Trimble, 21, to have an outstanding misdemeanor warrant. Officers spotted several items in the vehicle that had been reported stolen, Spotts said, and the truck had been reported stolen out of Golden Valley. Trimble was booked on the warrant and on suspicion of trafficking in stolen property. Another man involved, Jesse Clayton Webb, 40, had left the pawn shop, Spotts said, and was located down the street. Webb was booked on suspicion of unlawful use of a motor vehicle and trafficking in stolen property. The case is still under investigation. Neither suspect was jailed as of Thursday.
SHOPLIFTING/DISORDERLY CONDUCT, BULLHEAD CITY — Andrew M. Haggard, 29, was arrested Tuesday after officers responded to a silent alarm in the 1600 block of Highway 95. Upon arrival, Spotts said, officers encountered Haggard being held down by a store employee. He had reportedly entered the store, taken items and left the building without paying. Haggard also reportedly got into a fight with a store employee. He was booked on suspicion of assault, shoplifting and disorderly conduct and taken to the Mohave County Jail in Kingman.
WARRANT ARREST/SUSPENDED LICENSE, BULLHEAD CITY — Robert Lee Wilhite, 66, was arrested Tuesday following a traffic stop near Highway 95 and Thunderstruck Drive. A check showed him to have a suspended driver license and an outstanding misdemeanor warrant for failure to appear. Wilhite was booked on the warrant and on suspicion of driving on a suspended license, having no mandatory insurance and not having two required headlamps. He was taken to the Mohave County Jail in Kingman. The vehicle was towed for a mandatory 30-day impound.
