WVC Volleyball: Hanover Area Beats Rival Nanticoke Area

At Hanover Area, Joseph Scudder recorded 30 assists, 11 service points and two kills, leading the Hawkeyes to a thrilling, back-and-forth 3-2 win against rival Nanticoke Area in WVC boys volleyball Tuesday.

Brennan Johnson added 15 kills, 13 service points and 11 digs for Hanover Area. Hector Panecatl had 21 digs, 15 service points and six aces.

Nanticoke Area was led by Tyler Rushton, who had 18 assists, five blocks and three kills. Christian Mavus (eight digs, eight kills) and Andrew Kozlofski (seven kills, six digs) contributed, as well.

Delaware Valley 3, Crestwood 0

At Delaware Valley, Adam Williams tallied seven assists with three service points, although it came in a Crestwood loss.

Williams’ teammate Zyaire Gridine had three service points, two blocks and two kills for the Comets. John VanFossen added seven digs and three kills.
