Police Searching For Trio In Victoria’s Secret Theft
WILKES-BARRE TWP. — Police are trying to identify three people who conspired to steal about 30 items of sports apparel valued at more than $1,300 from Victoria’s Secret earlier this month.
Police said a man brought a large black duffle bag into the store the evening of Jan. 10 and stuffed it full of tank tops, sweatshirts and sweatpants before sliding the bag underneath other merchandise in the store.
The man then joined a woman, and together they began asking an employee about merchandise on the other side of the store in the Wyoming Valley Mall, police said.
A third man then moved in toward the duffle bag and fled the store when confronted about it, police said.
Police described all three thieves as Hispanic and between 20 and 30 years old. One man had black wavy hair and wore a black jacket and black shoes. The other had a skinny face and short, black hair, and was wearing a long gray jacket with dark pants.
The woman was described as having blonde or orange hair and wearing a black hat, black jacket, gray pants and a backpack with the word “Pink” on it.
Anyone with information on the theft is asked to call police at 570-208-4635, extension 326.
