Crime blotter for Dec. 22
According to reports provided by the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office:
A 20-year-old Aiken woman called police Thursday claiming someone went through her car while it was parked on Chardonnay Lane in Aiken.
Deputies arrested a 29-year-old Windsor man Thursday for active arrest warrants after he was found sleeping in a truck on Windsor Road in Springfield.
A 36-year-old Aiken woman reported Thursday someone broke into her vehicle while it was parked outside her apartment complex on University Parkway.
A 66-year-old Aiken woman reported Thursday her 26-year-old daughter had assaulted her at their Old Powder House Road home. The victim said her daughter “clawed her arm” and threw a box of dog treats at her, hitting her in the back. The suspect fled the scene before police arrived.
A North Augusta man called police Thursday claiming a woman had threatened him outside his Diamond Park Road residence. The man said the woman said, “Y’all are going to get yours for locking up my son” before driving off.
A 38-year-old Aiken woman reported Thursday someone fired multiple gunshots at her Lincoln Avenue home. Deputies observed multiple bullet shells in the woman’s yard and one of her window’s had been shot out.
