Snow plowing of Browne’s Addition to begin at 9 a.m.; city warns that cars not moved will be towed
Browne’s Addition is scheduled for its first plow today at 9 a.m., and the city is reminding people to move their parked cars or they will be towed.
Today, north and south streets will receive their first snow plow since Spokane announced it was in the midst of a “stage 2 snow event” Monday.
Residents are asked to move their cars to east and west streets by 9 a.m.
Since Browne’s Addition has such narrow streets, snow plows cannot fit if cars aren’t moved, said Mark Serbousek, director of Spokane Streets Department. Serbousek said cars that aren’t moved in time will be towed if the driver cannot be reached.
Residents can check plow schedules on the city’s plow map.
East and west streets are scheduled to be plowed Friday.
