Alliant Energy names David de Leon vice president of Wisconsin operations
The director of construction for Madison-based utility Alliant Energy Corp. has been named vice president of Wisconsin operations for the firm.
David de Leon, who has been with Alliant Energy for 30 years, was announced as the new vice president by Patricia Kampling, president, chairman and CEO, on Wednesday.
He will lead the company’s Wisconsin energy delivery and generation operations, reporting to senior vice president of operations Doug Kopp.
De Leon is a professional engineer who’s overseen many Wisconsin facility performance improvements and air quality control projects for the utility, Alliant Energy said in a news release.
He has an MBA from Edgewood College and a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from UW-Platteville.
Alliant Energy Corp. has 960,000 electric and 410,000 natural gas customers in Wisconsin and Iowa.
