Candidate Wally Cain files for a recount of Fifth Ward election votes
A petition has been filed to recount the votes in the election of Ludington’s Fifth Ward councilor.
Current Fifth Ward councilor and incumbent candidate Wally Cain, who lost the race in the midterm election Tuesday by four votes, filed the petition for a recount Friday afternoon at the Mason County Clerk’s Office.
During the election, it was reported that Angela Serna won by 243 votes, compared to 239 votes for Cain.
