Fast-casual Hello Bistro in Beachwood sets mid-May opening, now hiring

BEACHWOOD, Ohio -- Hello Bistro is almost ready to say hello to its first Cleveland-area location.

The fast-casual concept from the same folks behind Eat’n Park will open in mid-May in Beachwood in the shopping center formerly known as La Place.

The chain specializes in made-to-order salads, hamburgers, sandwiches and soups. Popular items include the build-your-own salad with unlimited toppings for $8 and, straight from Eat’n Park, the double-decker Superburger with cheese for $5. You’ll even find the company’s signature Smiley Cookies.

“Clevelanders are going to love Hello Bistro because it’s an entirely new way of dining,” Hello Bistro spokesperson Kevin O’Connell said back in August. “Guests will have the opportunity to create a different experience every time they visit. If it’s a day to be health conscious, we have kale and avocado for that; if it’s a day to loosen the belt buckle, we have fresh-cut french fries and juicy burgers.”

The restaurant is looking to fill 45 staff positions from cooks and supervisors, to register workers and salad “sherpas.” Job seekers can apply at an open house at the restaurant, 2101 Richmond Rd., on April 22-23 from 11 a.m.-6 p.m.

Hello Bistro currently has six locations, all in the Pittsburgh area. The Beachwood store represents the company’s first expansion outside of Pennsylvania.
