CONNIE SUE SPROUSE, 73, of South Point, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, December 26, 2018, in St. Mary’s Medical Center, Huntington. Connie was born January 9, 1945, in Huntington, a daughter of the late John Rumbaugh (Bunny Rum-baugh) and Lillian Juanita Bias (Harold “PeeWee” Bias). Connie graduated from Huntington East High School. She later went on to become a telecommunications manager for the US government, a secretary at Cabell Huntington Hospital as well as Marshall University. Connie enjoyed traveling, gardening and watching the birds. She immensely enjoyed spending time with her family and planning outings and activities for her grandchildren. Connie is survived by her husband, John Preston Sprouse; two daughters, Melanie (Rich) Donatt and Kelly (Brian) Randolph; a stepdaughter, Tammy Sprouse Shand; four grandchildren, Megan (Wade) Stansberry, Heather Donatt, Kristin Donatt, Zachary (Michaela) Randolph; two great-grandchildren, Evelyn and Grant Stansberry; a sister-in-law, Paula Bias, and her children, Amy Johnson and David Bias; and a niece and nephew, Tammy and Jeff McCallister.
