Family movie to be shown at Gorge Amphitheatre on Aug. 11

The movie “E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial” will be shown at the Gorge Amphitheatre on Aug. 11 as a fundraiser for Seattle Children’s Hospital and Quincy Valley School, according to a news release.

At dusk, an outdoor showing of the 1982 blockbuster hit “E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial” (rated PG) will be shown under the stars. Gates open at 7 p.m. on Friday. Entry is free however parking passes are $20 vehicle maximum six people.

Concessions will be available, including french fries, popcorn, candy, and soda, all under $5. It is a family friendly, non-alcoholic event.

No pets, personal food, drinks, or coolers will be allowed. Chairs will be available for rent. All proceeds benefit Seattle Children’s Hospital Uncompensated Care Fund and Quincy Valley School.
