Two men sentenced in separate cases
STANTON - Two men in separate cases were sentenced to 90 days in jail Monday.
According to Stanton County Sheriff Mike Unger, In Stanton County District Court, Judge Mark Johnson sentenced 19-year-old Elliott Anderson of Woodland Park to 24 months of probation and 90 days in jail following his conviction for possession of child pornography.
Anderson was charged last year following an investigation by the Stanton County Sheriff’s office, with assistance from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
Anderson was also ordered to pay a $2,500 fine and register as a sex offender for 25 years.
Also, 60-year-old Curt hill of Stanton was sentenced to 90 days in jail and also had his driver’s license revoked for ten years, following his conviction for an enhanced 2nd offense-driving while intoxicated.
Hill was arrested last year near Stanton by the Sheriff’s office and was originally charged with felony 3rd offense DWI.
