Five jailed on felony charges

BARBOURSVILLE – Five people were jailed on felony charges since Monday afternoon, according to booking records kept at the Western Regional Jail.

Mathew Thomas Boettger, 30, was jailed at 12 a.m. Tuesday. Authorities in Cabell County charged him with being a fugitive from justice, possession of a controlled substance and shoplifting. Bond was not set.

Jessie Allen Dunfee, II, 21, was jailed at 6:30 a.m. Tuesday. Authorities in Cabell County charged him with receiving or transferring stolen property, breaking and entering of an auto and breaking and entering. Bond was not set.

Christopher Scott Ross, 23, was jailed at 6:30 a.m. Tuesday. Authorities in Cabell County charged him with breaking and entering of an auto and breaking and entering. Bond was not set.

Ricky Nelson, 49, was jailed at 4:50 p.m. Monday. Authorities in Cabell County charged him with grand larceny, shoplifting and removal of theft detector. Bond was $13,250.

Derrick Smith, 25, was jailed at 8:30 p.m. Monday. Authorities in Cabell County charged him with driving on a license suspended for DUI, fleeing in a vehicle and fleeing on foot. Bond was not set.
