Indian Association Of NEPA Celebrates Holi Festival
The Indian Association of Northeast PA celebrated the Indian festival of color, Holi, with the local community at Amber Palace, 228 George Ave., Wilkes-Barre. Guest of honor at the event was state Rep. Eddie Pashinski. Holi is considered one of the most revered and celebrated festivals of India. It is celebrated in almost every part of the country. It is also sometimes called the “festival of love,” as on this day people have an opportunity to unite together, forgetting all resentments and all types of bad feeling toward each other.
