Tickets now on sale for The Browns

CARTHAGE, Ill. – Tickets are now on sale for The Browns, a patriotic show coming to the Legacy Theater in Carthage, the first of the summer’s line up of national performers.

The Browns will perform two concerts, 7 p.m. on Friday, June 30, and 2 p.m., Saturday, July 1. This gospel group from Lemars, has performed over 30 shows at the Americana Theatre in Branson, Mo., sang on Dollywood Theme park stages and entertained on 10 Royal Caribbean and Carnival cruise ships

Tickets are $20. Reserved seating tickets can be purchased at the theater ticket office on Rt. 136 in Carthage from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday to Friday, or call the theater (217-357-9479) during those hours for a credit card purchase.

Tickets also can be purchased on-line at www.ticsrus.com, or at three local ticket sales locations: Carson Motors in Carthage, Zion Mercantile in Nauvoo, and Keokuk Convention and Tourism Bureau in Keokuk, Iowa.

Seats for Life patrons should buy their tickets by May 15 to be assured of having their regular seating. Seats-for-Life tickets can be purchased by calling or coming to the theater from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., or by contacting Carson Motors, (217)-357-3154.

The Browns have been touring across the United States since they began full-time 13 years ago. This family act delivers their message through word and song to audiences of all ages.

This year The Browns received the honor of Top 10 Mixed Group of the Year for the fourth year in a row. They have received the Top Horizon Group of the Year for three years. The group has just finished their newest recording, “Love Loud” with Stowtown Recording.

The summer line-up by the Legacy Theater continues with the “Branson Live at the Legacy” series. Tickets for these three concerts will be sold individually or in a series package for a discounted price.

The series includes The Hughes Brothers, July 20-22; The Duttons, Aug. 3-5; and Branson on the Road, Sept. 29 and 30. Watch for more information.
