Verlinda “Lynn” Kuhlman, 75, of Sioux City, passed away on Friday, Oct. 19, 2018, at her home.

Abiding by family wishes, cremation has taken place, and services will be held at a later date. Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel has assisted the family with arrangements. Online condolences may be offered at www.meyerbroschapels.com.

Lynn Kuhlman was born Jan. 12, 1943, in Sioux City, Iowa. She graduated from Central High School, Class of 1961. She retired from John Morrell after 28 years, during which time she performed accounting duties in administration.

Lynn was a loving wife, mother, grandma and friend to many. Her eyes glistened and her smile could light up a room. She loved her time with her (late) husband, Robert Kuhlman, baking, tending to her yard, feeding the deer, dancing and traveling to the Black Hills in South Dakota. Above all, she cherished her time spent with her grandchildren and great-grandsons.

She is survived by her two daughters, Bobbette (Ron) Norby and Tiffney (Rob) Leckband, all of Sioux City; four grandchildren, Mandie (Jeremy) Mayo, Allie (Jacob) Rosemier, Cory Leckband and Casie Leckband; and four great-grandchildren, Maddox Mannion, Holden Mayo, Rylan Mayo and Gavin Mayo.

Lynn was preceded in death by her father, Ami L. West; and her husband, Robert Kuhlman.
