Greenwich Art Society gears up for next show
GREENWICH — The Greenwich Art Society will be accepting entries soon for its 102nd Annual Juried Exhibition for members.
The show will run from March 8 to April 4 at the Bendheim Gallery on the second floor of the art center at 299 Greenwich Ave.
Artists can drop off work from 2 to 4 p.m. March 2 and March 3.
The juror will be Megan Fontanella, curator of modern art and provenance at the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum in New York City.
A public reception will be held from 6:30 to 8 p.m. March 15.
A VIP Tour of the exhibit with the juror will be held from 5:30 to 7 p.m. March 21.
Show awards total over $2,000, including the Irene Buynoski Drawing Award. Entrants must be current Greenwich Art Society members. Members must pay the current years dues if in arrears. New members may join on entry day.
Entry fees are $35 for the first piece, $15 for the second piece. The maximum number of entries is two. No early entries will be accepted. Click here for the prospectus, and click here for the entry form.
