Voter Registration Deadline Is Feb. 11 For 114th District Special Election

SCRANTON — The last day for residents of the 114th Legislative District to register to vote in the March 12 special election to fill the seat of late state Rep. Sid Michaels Kavulich is Monday, Feb. 11, Lackawanna County elections director Marion Medalis said.

Voter registration applications are available weekdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Department of Elections on the second floor of the county Government Center, 123 Wyoming Ave. Completed registration forms may be returned to the Department of Elections by mail but must be postmarked no later than Monday, Feb. 11.

District residents may also register online at www.pavoterservices.state.pa.us.

The 114th consists of the city of Carbondale, the townships of Waverly, Carbondale, Fell, Glenburn, Greenfield, Newton, North Abington, Ransom and Scott, and the boroughs of Clarks Summit, Dickson City, Jermyn, Mayfield, Moosic, Old Forge, Taylor and Vandling.
