Fourth arrest made in connection with Hartsville shooting

HARTSVILLE, S.C. – A fourth suspect has been arrested following a shooting on June 11 in the Pine Ridge community of Hartsville.

Lavan Latrell Joe, 26, of Manning, was arrested Monday afternoon and charged with murder, attempted murder, armed robbery with a deadly weapon, possession of a weapon during a violent crime and criminal conspiracy.

The incident occurred off of Lunn Drive where the suspects allegedly shot and killed Rondrecus Peterson, 31. Another person as severely injured in the shooting.

Jason Lamont Gadson, Zackery Chyenne Sanders and Kayla Lynn Dennis are the other suspects that have been arrested for their alleged involvement in the shooting.

Gadson, Sanders, and Dennis also received the same charges as Joe.

Deputies are still searching for another suspect, Christopher Alexander Moton, Jr., for his alleged involvement in this incident.
