n City of Pocatello Red Cross Blood Drive will be today at 9 a.m., Council Chambers at Pocatello City Hall.

n Citizens’ Climate Lobby will host their Climate Action Film series by presenting “Merchants of Doubt,” a film by Robert Kenner today at Marshall Public Library. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., movie begins at 7 p.m. Admission is free.

n City of Pocatello Planning & Zoning Commission Clarification Meeting will be Wednesday at 6 p.m., Iwamizawa Conference at Pocatello City Hall.

n The Annual Memorial Garden Planting will be held on Wednesday at Southeastern Idaho Public Health, 1901 Alvin Ricken Dr., Pocatello at 5:30 p.m. This community event creates a living tribute in the form of a memorial garden and offers the community a place to grieve, reflect and remember their loved ones.

n There will be a ribbon cutting with the Pocatello/Chubbuck Chamber of Commerce and a barbecue at American Staffing, Inc. located at 345 Yellowstone Ave on Wednesday at 5:15 p.m.

n Bannock Civitans will kick off the Revive@5 summer concerts on Wednesday. Live music will begin at 5 p.m. featuring The Voltz. ISU Credit Union is this week’s sponsor and they will be hosting Educator’s Night. PV’s Uncorked on Main will be the featured restaurant with delicious food. Mark your calendars now and plan to come out for great music, food, cold beverages, ice cream, and more at the Old Town Pavilion.

n National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI SI) support group meets every Wednesday at 7 p.m. at Life, Inc. 640 Pershing Ave. Family, friends and those in recovery dealing with mental illness are encouraged to come.

n Mental Health Specialists provides a community Suicide Survivor Support Group. This is facilitated by a counselor, who has worked extensively with individuals who have survived the suicide of a loved one. The group meets the second and fourth Wednesday of the month at 1 p.m. and runs for approximately an hour. If you feel like this is something that might benefit you, please call Mental Health Specialists at 208-238-9000 and ask for Garren Aubrey. He will talk to you about the benefits of the group and assist you in understanding what you might expect from group. This needs to be done before you attend group for the first time. Mental Health Specialists is a full-service agency providing: medication management, counseling, case management, peer supports, CBRS and psychological evaluations. Please plan on joining this group to assist you after the suicide of a loved one.

n A Executive Session: Student Discipline of the Board of Trustees of Pocatello/Chubbuck School District No. 25 will be held Wednesday beginning at 4:30 p.m. in the Education Service Center: Superintendent’s Office.
