Ethel Jackson Adkins of Fort Gay, W.Va.
ETHEL JACKSON ADKINS, 84, of Fort Gay, W.Va., died Sunday, June 10, 2018, at the J.J. Jordan Nursing Home in Louisa, Ky. Ethel was born December 12, 1933, in Genoa, W.Va., to the late Benjamin and Mary Dingess Rowe. Ethel was a homemaker and a member of the Upper Tabors Creek Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Homer Jackson, daughter, Joan Judd, grandchildren, Amanda Jackson and Freddie Tweedy, and siblings, Luther Rowe and Mary Rowe. Survivors include her children, Tom (Judy) Jackson, Toni Shinn, Tim (Sherry) Jackson, Dale Bailey, Theresa (Martin) Hostetter and Darlene Daniels; 15 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; and siblings, Frankie Smith, Vangie (Bill) Ray, Charlotte (Bruce) Caldwell, Irene (John) Caldwell, Linda (Bobby) Chaffins, Harley (Erva) Rowe and Ellis Rowe. Visitation will be at 6 p.m. Saturday, June 16, 2018, with a memorial service at 7 p.m., at Young Funeral Home, Louisa, Ky.
