DUCK, DUCK, GRONK: Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski showed all of Instagram he’s more than just a talented football player. In a video, which included that caption “Mighty ducks style,” Gronk sped down the street on roller blades with a hockey stick in hand. At the end of his skating sprint, he gave a good wind-up and slap-shot the puck into the goal. But don’t expect him to hang up his cleats in favor of a pair of skates — Bill would never let him go.

LEGALLY SPEAKING: “Dancing With the Stars” and “America’s Funniest Home Videos” host Tom Bergeron was spotted out in Cambridge. The TV personality was seen at Legal Sea Foods in Charles Square yesterday. We’ve been told that he lunched on a crabcake sandwich. No epic trampoline fails or cha-cha-chas were involved with his restaurant experience.

INTO THE WATERFRONT: Singer-songwriter Andrew McMahon — who, before going solo, was the frontman of bands Something Corporate and Jack’s Mannequin — and “It’s Okay to Laugh (Crying is Cool, Too)” author Nora McInerny were at the Westin Waterfront for the Mass. General Cancer Center’s annual The One Hundred event. McMahon was a 2016 honoree, while this year’s recognition is going to McInerny, philanthropist/powerbroker Jack Connors, the Breast Cancer Research Foundation’s President Myra Biblowit and paralympic silver medalist sailor Hugh Freund. Other notable guests at the Seaport shindig included Patti and Jonathan Kraft, who helped head up the event as co-chairs; Dr. Peter L. Slavin, president of Mass. General Hospital; Dr. Daniel A. Haber, Ph.D, director of Mass. General Cancer Center; and Dr. David P. Ryan, clinical director of Mass. General Cancer Center.
