Source to Sea Cleanup scheduled for next month
BRIDGEPORT — The Connecticut River Conservancy will host the 22nd Annual Source to Sea Cleanup next month.
It will take place on Sept. 28 and Sept. 29. The Source to the Sea Cleanup is an annual trash cleanup of the Connecticut River system — including rivers, parks, streams, boat launches and trails.
Each fall, thousands of volunteers head out in Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Vermont to clean on foot or by boat.
To sign up for this fall’s event and for more details, visit ctriver.org/our-work/source-to-sea-cleanup/.
Once you register a group for the cleanup, you’ll receive a welcome packet with information about how you and your group can get involved.
After the cleanup, there will be Trash Talk events, where people will discuss and learn more about what can be done in Connecticut to help keep trash out of nature. More details on that are expected soon.
